A quiet room for the people who anchor you. A Thought opens the door. A Hint begins the conversation. The rest happens in real life.
The Haelo rhythm

Life outside the feed

Your people

A small invitation
Thought → Hint → private conversation → real life.
the useful reversal
Haelo begins with attention, not content. A Thought opens a door. A Hint says: you crossed my mind.

Your people. One Thought each.
One line · 24 hours · no feed.
01 · Thought
Share one Thought for 24 hours. Longer ones stay compact until a friend taps to unfold them, then a Hint can open the conversation.
Up to 60 characters. Move or toss people through the Constellation; pins keep the ones you choose nearby, never frozen.

A Hint says: you crossed my mind.
One person · no reply required.
02 · Hint
Start with one person. A Hint says you crossed my mind, without asking them to perform or answer on cue.
If a Hint is already waiting, Haelo simply asks you to give them time.

Pick the feeling first.
Words can come later.
03 · Rich Hint
Hold a friend's card — or tap ✨. Start with how you feel, then gently suggest the kind of contact you'd love. They can reply their way, later, or let it pass.
A little context can make a small invitation feel more human.

Start with voice.
Text · photo · video stay in one thread.
04 · Private conversation
Haelo is voice-first: begin with a voice message, then let text, photos or video keep the same private conversation flowing.
One quiet thread across formats — no public performance and no pressure to answer on cue.

A Huddle: four people, one room.
One Hint invites the circle.
05 · Huddle
A Huddle is one shared room for a chosen few. One Hint invites the circle; when people accept, four friends turn a few messages into Sunday lunch.
The shared room closes after six quiet hours. No discovery feed, no public audience.

A Story is waiting.
Hint → conversation → reveal.
06 · Story
A Story lives for 24 hours. Its Seal waits on your friend's avatar; send a Hint, open a real conversation, and the Story reveals in chat as a natural conversation starter.
Stories (called “Postcards” in earlier app versions) can be revealed for 24 hours. No feed and no passive viewing.
less feed · more life
A van over the mountain. Bread on the Sunday table. Boards by the coast. Haelo is made for the moments already happening — and the small invitations that get us there.
From our visual world: road-trip photographs and AI-created mood imagery.

quiet by design
Haelo is built for direct relationships and chosen groups. It is not a public social network and it does not sell advertising space.
Independent and built in Copenhagen by Sprint Film ApS.
why Haelo exists
Michael Degn & Simon Wozniak
The people behind Haelo
Haelo began with an idea from Michael Degn: what if you could ask a friend for a photo or a message from their day? Michael and Simon Wozniak developed that idea together into Haelo — a quieter way to stay close, built in Copenhagen.
We wanted room for the ordinary moments: a coffee, a walk, a small sign of life. A Hint says that someone crossed your mind. The answer can come when there is room for it. Our philosophy is simple: being remembered matters more than being seen by everyone. Less feed. More life.
